A fire at a St. Thomas plant caused the evacuation of employees Friday night.

Local media reports the blaze at Formet Industries was contained by fire crews.

No injuries were reported and damage is said to be minimal. Employees at the plant were able to resume their shift later in the evening.

There's no official word on what may have sparked the blaze.
