London Police say one person was sent to hospital with serious injuries after a two-vehicle collision on Highbury Ave. at Florence St. Monday afternoon.
Police, fire, and EMS were called to the intersection at about 12:30 p.m. after reports of t-bone collision between a car and transport truck.
Reports say the male driver of the car, who is believed to be in his 40’s, was extricated from the vehicle and rushed to hospital with serious injuries.

Highbury Ave. remains closed in both directions between Dundas St. and Florence St. as police investigate. There is no word when the road is expected to reopen.
London Police are asking the public and motorists to avoid the area as the investigation continues.
