Haldimand County OPP say a GMC Yukon stolen from the Toronto area on Thursday was later involved in a crash in Caledonia that saw three people injured and a suspect flee the scene.
Police, fire, and paramedics were called to reports of a two vehicle crash on Sixth Line between Argyle Street South and Oneida Road in Caledonia around 10:15 Thursday night.
The investigation has so far revealed that a black Honda Civic and black GMC Yukon collided, the suspect driver of the GMC Yukon exited and fled on foot heading westbound, while the three occupants in the Honda Civic were taken to hospital.
One suffered minor injuries, the other two suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.
