London Police say a missing dog has been reunited with his owner.
Police say a person located a lost dog in a plaza at 1365 Huron Street just after 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
Investigators say a man in the area, who ended up not being the lawful owner of the dog, claimed the pet as his own and left with the dog in a cubed U-Haul.
In an update provided Friday morning, police say “Max,” an 11 ½ year old Brittany spaniel, had been located safely and reunited with his owner.
There’s no word on whether police are still looking for a suspect or how the dog was found.
London Police thank the public for their assistance in the matter.
