London Police say a 24-year-old man is in custody and charges are pending in connection to a crime spree Thursday morning in the city’s west end.
Investigators say the first incident occurred around 8:30 a.m. when a lone male entered the Shoppers Drug Mart location near Colonel Talbot Road and Southdale Road and demanded medication. After receiving an unspecified quantity, the man fled, police said.
About an hour later, around 9:42 a.m., police say they received a call about an attempted robbery at a different Shoppers Drug Mart Location along Commissioners Road West in Byron. In that case, the suspect left empty handed, police said.
A few minutes later, an Esso station at Oxford Street West and Westdel Bourne reported being robbed. Police say the suspect made off with cash in that incident.
Police say they attended the scene and took an unidentified 24-year-old man into custody in connection to all three incidents. Charges are pending, police said.
No injuries were reported in any of the incidents.
