London Police say they’re searching for two suspects wanted in connection with two separate pharmacy hold-ups in the west end of town.
Officers say the first case happened around 12:50 p.m. Monday when two masked men entered the pharmacy in the medical building at 279 Wharncliffe Rd. North, just north of Oxford.
The suspects didn’t get in because police say employees locked the door.
Then five minutes later, investigators say they believe the same suspects entered the pharmacy inside the Chelsey Park Retirement Community at 312 Oxford St. West, across from Cherryhill Mall.
At that location, London Police say the suspects were able to steal an undisclosed amount of prescription medication before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.
Police say no one was hurt in either of these cases.
Officers searched the area, but say they weren’t able to find the suspects who they’ve described as follows:
- Male (unknown ethnicity), approximately 5’9″, wearing a dark winter jacket, gloves, black boots and prescription eye glasses
- Male (unknown ethnicity), approximately 5’7″, dark winter jacket, black boots
Investigators are asking anyone who may have information about either of these incidents to contact the London Police Service at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
