Middlesex County OPP charged a 21-year-old man from Thames Centre with impaired driving just outside of London.
Officers observed a possible impaired driver travelling south on Dorchester Road around 4:01 a.m. on Thursday.
Police stopped a Ford SUV and conducted a roadside test near the Highway 401 overpass.
Officials stated that it was determined that the driver had been drinking alcohol. He was placed under arrest and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath testing.
According to police, Mitchell Rowse has been charged with:
- Driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle (alcohol and drug)
- Driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
Police released the accused by way of a Promise to Appear. Rowse is expected to appear in a London court on January 11th.
