Two drivers remain in hospital following a head on crash on a Perth County road Tuesday morning.
A grey Chevrolet Venture minivan and a white Chevrolet Silver pick-up truck collided at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday on Perth Rd. 131, just south of Line 83 in Carthage.
The van’s driver was airlifted away from the scene to a hospital in London, while the driver of the truck was transported to a local hospital by ambulance.
Officers with the Perth County OPP detachment said that Perth Rd. 131 was reopened at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
Police are continuing to investigate, and have put out a call for information.
“Police are requesting anyone who observed this collision, or the operation of either of these two vehicles prior to this incident, to contact the Perth County OPP,” a release from the department said.

The two vehicles involved were a grey Chevrolet Venture Van and a white Chevrolet Silverado pick up. The driver of the Chevrolet Venture Van was airlifted to a London hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the Silverado pick up was transported by ambulance to an area hospital.
