London police say a woman was treated in hospital after a stabbing in a home on Adelaide Street.
Police responded to the residence on Adelaide Street near Central Ave. at approximately 4 p.m. Tuesday and located a 28-year-old woman who had been stabbed in the thigh.
The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to hospital where she was treated and later released. A pool of blood could be seen outside the home on the sidewalk.
Police say two men were taken into custody and are known to the victim.
“No one else is being sought in relation to this investigation and there should be no concern for public safety in regards to this incident,” said Cst. Chris Loizides.
The London Free Press reports the incident happened at a home run by Keith Charles, who is currently facing a number of bylaw offence charges in connection with a deadly fire in 2014 in one of his group homes on Oxford Street East.
