Dozens of homeowners in London, and surrounding areas, have gone the extra mile to give their homes a touch of fright this Halloween.
While many people have carved pumpkins, or put up cobwebs and ghosts in the windows, there are some homeowners who go to the extreme by creating elaborate displays complete with coffins, monsters, lights and sound.
If you’re taking the kids out on Monday night, we’ve compiled a list of houses in London, and surrounding areas, you may want to incorporate into your candy collecting route.
If you have a house you’d like added to the list, please send an e-mail to email@example.com.
You can navigate the interactive map below to find a Halloween house near you (the houses without specific street addresses are approximate locations; zoom in on the map to get a less ‘jumbled’ view of the houses; click on the icons, some of them have pictures of the decorated houses submitted by users):
The City of London run Storybook Gardens’ Story Spook Village will also be open through Sunday for young children and families. There will be 20 characters in costume for kids to meet, lighting displays, and three amusement rides running. The park is open from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. with the last entrance at 8:30 p.m.
Admission is $15.00 per child, parents are free. Wear your costumes, bring a flashlight, treat bag, and dress for the weather.
