London Police have charged three teenage boys after an adult man was assaulted and robbed and another man was threatened on a Trafalgar Street sidewalk near Clarke Road.
The investigation has revealed that at around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, three teen boys assaulted a man and took his cellphone and some cash. A second man tried to intervene but was threatened with a knife. The three suspects fled on foot and damaged a vehicle in the area.
Police were called to the scene and quickly arrested three suspects. One victim was taken to hospital with minor injuries, the other man was not hurt.
As a result, three youths are facing several charges.
A 17-year-old Londoner is charged with robbery.
A 15-year-old Londoner is charged with robbery, uttering threats to cause bodily harm or death, weapons dangerous to public peace, and failing to comply with a YCJA sentence.
A 15-year-old from Chippewa of the Thames is charged with robbery and possession of stolen property.
The suspects cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
