Sarnia Police are investigating a single motor vehicle collision that took place east of the city.
Police report that the collision occurred on Confederation Line, between Waterworks Road and Mandaumin Road around 10:00 a.m. on Sunday.
The Sarnia Police Service traffic branch was called in to investigate the collision.
Officials stated that the preliminary investigation shows that a motor vehicle left the roadway near the 2800 block of Confederation Line and collided with a tree.
The motor vehicle was damaged and all three occupants were injured.
Police reported that the occupants were in their mid-twenties.
EMS transported the male driver and a female passenger to Bluewater Health with what officials believe to be non-life threatening injuries.
The other female passenger was airlifted to London’s Victoria Hospital with major injuries.
The area has been closed to traffic.
According to police, Confederation Line is not expected to be reopened until the evening.
