Sarnia police are continuing to investigate the crash site of an aircraft that was located north of London Line.
Officers reported that they received several calls from the public regarding a small two-seater aircraft that went down north of London Line in a cornfield around 11:45 a.m. on Saturday.
Police, Sarnia Fire and Lambton EMS responded to the crash site near the 2300 block of London Line.
Officials stated that they located the wreckage from the aircraft and determined that the lone male occupant died as a result of the crash. Police claim he was in his 50’s.
Transport Canada has been called to assist with the investigation.

Officials stated that no further information will be released until the investigation is complete.
