Middlesex County OPP are reporting that a 19-year-old female caught in a house fire in Dorchester has been pronounced dead by doctors.
Officers responded to a house fire call around 6:00 p.m. at 151 Oakwood Drive on Tuesday.
The Dorchester Volunteer Fire Department attended the scene and contained the fire.
Officials stated that three people were in the residence during the time of the fire. One person was able to get out on their own.
The Dorchester Fire-Rescue was able to get the two other people from out of the burning home.
On Wednesday, officials stated that the fire had claimed the life of 21-year-old Ryan Parsons of Thames Centre.
Police have identified the female as Lauren Duesbury of Thames Centre.
A post-mortem has been scheduled for Lauren.
Investigators are continuing to determine the cause of the fire.
