London police are warning business owners to be on the lookout for counterfeit $100 U.S. bills.
There have been over 20 cases of small business owners accepting the fake American bills since the beginning of the year, according to police.
The London Police Fraud Section is investigating the incidents. Small business owners are urged to contact police if anyone attempts to use a counterfeit bill as payment.
Police say the bills are poor quality and should be detected as counterfeit after basic examination.
