Canada scored again in the 52nd minute as captain Christine Sinclair found the back of the net after receiving a pass from Rose.
Eighteen year old midfielder and London native Jessie Fleming (pictured right) set up the second goal by getting possession of the ball and dodging several Brazilian defenders before passing to Rose.
Brazil got on the board with 12 minutes to go but Canada held on to win the bronze medal showdown.
Fleming wasn’t the only player from London to perform well for Canada on the Olympic stage. Shelina Zadorsky (pictured left) started at center back and helped anchor Canada’s defense.
Canada also captured bronze at the 2012 London Olympics with a 1-0 victory over France.
