The London man who pled guilty to killing his parents at their Watford-area home in 2014 is expected to learn his fate Thursday in a London courtroom.
Jeremy Gubbels, of London, pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree murder in the case this past April and is due in court for sentencing and victim impact statements.
Gubbels was arrested on July 13th, 2014 after his father’s body was found inside a vehicle in a parking lot in London.
Earlier that same night, his mother was found dead inside the family home on Arkona Road northeast of Watford.
Horrific details of the Gubbels’ deaths were read aloud in an agreed statement of facts in court in April, which included graphic details of how both his parents were killed, and their bodies mutilated.
Thursday’s sentencing hearing will begin with victim impact statements.
AM980 will have a reporter at the London Courthouse for the sentencing.
