London Police say a woman is facing a number of charges after emergency services uniforms were recovered from a residence.
Police say overnight Thursday, a local dry cleaner was broken into. Shirts, pants, and jackets from the London Police Service, London Police Auxiliary, and Western University Campus Community Police Service were all stolen.
On Saturday, a search warrant was executed at a Centre St. residence and all of the clothing was recovered. A wedding dress, a gown, and a pair of men’s dress pants that were taken were also seized.
As a result, 31-year-old Michelle Carter of London has been charged with five counts of possession of property obtained by crime.
She is to appear in court Sunday.
