A 24 year old man has been charged with manslaughter a day after police launched a suspicious death investigation in Woodstock.
Police arrested and charged Flavius Miron of Woodstock at around 3:30 a.m. Thursday.
The investigation began when police received a call for medical assistance at around 3 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Tecumseh St.
Officers attended with EMS and life saving measures were initiated, but police say a 48 year old man died.
A post mortem is pending and the cause of death is yet to be determined.
The Woodstock Police Service Criminal Investigations Branch and the Forensic Identification Unit are on scene and still investigating.
Police say Miron will appear in a Woodstock court for a bail hearing on Friday, July 15th.
