London Police say a 21-year-old man is wanted in connection with a stabbing in the city’s south end.
Alejandro Esteban Tapia is charged with aggravated assault and weapons dangerous to public peace.
He has not been arrested yet, and his whereabouts are currently unknown.
On Tuesday, officers responded to the scene of a high rise apartment building at 335 Southdale Road West.
When they arrived, they found a man in his 20’s suffering from multiple stab wounds inside a washroom located off the main lobby of the building.
The victim was transported to London Health Sciences Centre with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators say the two men involved were known to each other and this incident was not a random act, but rather an escalation of a dispute between the two men.
Alejandro Tapia is described as white, 5’6, 120 lbs, short brown hair and a goatee.
He should not be approached by the public if seen.
He has tattoos on both of his forearms and hands and is known to drive a 1999 four door dark green Toyota with Ontario license plate number BYXY 777.
Anyone with information in relation to this incident is asked to call the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
