Toronto Police have released a picture of a sexual assault suspect.On January 24 at 3 a.m, a man approached a 47-year-old woman in the hallway of an apartment building in the Shuter Street/Parliament Street area.
The two then entered an apartment where the woman was assaulted.The man is described as 5'6", tan complexion, dark hair with a skinny build. He was last seen wearing a red, hooded sweatshirt, a dark shirt with white lettering and blue jeans.Police have also released a security camera video of the suspect on YouTube which can be seen here.

Toronto police are looking for a 47 year old man who has been missing since last night.He was last seen Friday at 8 pm when he left the Toronto East General Hospital.Police are concerned for Russel Lamore's safety.He's described as white 5'10" and 160 pounds with long light brown hair.He was last seen wearing a red T-shirt with a grey zip up sweater and a dark coloured leather jacket.

Two free months of bus rides begin today for York Region Transit bus riders.Some routes will be back on the roads today after a three month long strike while most other routes will be up and running by Monday.
Anyone who has already bought a pass for February can use it in April or get a refund.

Police are investigating after a man was shot in the Gerrard Street and Woodbine Avenue area this morning.
The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries. Police say it appears a bullet may have grazed the victim's head.
No word on suspects at this time.

With less than two days to go before a possible work stoppage across the city, both sides in the ongoing labour dispute have come out with bats swinging.
CUPE Local 416 President Mark Ferguson addressed the media this morning, and in a very fired up demeanor, announced "the city put a provocotive final offer that guts the collective agreement."
Ferguson went on to say "the proposal was wrapped in a threat, accept [the offer], or terms and conditions will be imposed."
Deputy Mayor Doug Holyday alongside the head of HR for the city, Bruce Anderson, then spoke to the media on what exactly the terms would be.
Holyday pointed out the city has no plans to lockout the outdoor employees, and that come 12:01 Sunday morning, it will be business as usual, under new terms.
The city has proposed to change layoff & recall process, delete agreement on shift schedule changes, and end protection of permanent employees with contracting out.
Anderson says there is still a day and a half to go in bargaining, and the city is awaiting a response from the union.

More information is coming out in regards to a massive child porn bust across the province.
Toronto cops allege a man charged int eh sweep abused numerous young girls. Detectives believe the 42-year-old man demanded some young girls to send him compromising picturesor perform sexual acts on webcam. A slew of child pornography images were seized andinvestigators believe there were many victims going back at least 5 years. Police say the images came from underage girls the accusedchatted with on social networking sites such as Facebook and MSMMessenger. And police say there is evidence the man, who went by a number ofnames online, may have met with some of the young girls. Shiraz Nariman faces charges that include luring a child,invitation to sexual touching and making child pornography.

The province's police watchdog confirms the man at the centre of a shooting has now died in hospital.
The 29 year old man allegedly left Toronto East General Hospital this morning, armed with a pair of scissors.
Officers were then called to a home on Milverton Blvd., near Coxwell & Danforth, where gunfire erupted.
The suspect was hit at least once, with witness reports saying as many as three shots were fired.
The man was taken to St. Mikes where he was pronounced dead.
One officer involved may have suffered an injury as well during the incident.

Toronto police are looking into the sexual assault of a teenaged boy by a man posing as a gas company employee going door-to-door. It happened around 7:30 Thursday night in the Sheppard and Jane neighbourhood. It's alleged the 16-year-old opened the door to a man carrying a black-zippered binder and was assaulted.
The suspect is described as a man in his 30's, with a medium build, short hair, and glasses.

The Special Investigations Unit has been called in after a woman fell from a balcony.
It happened around 1am this morning from an apartment building on Sherbourne Street.
According to EMS the woman suffered serious injuries. She was transported to hospital with two broken arms and a head injury.
A man in his 40's is in custody.

With the deadline for a possible strike/lockout of the city's outdoor workers looming, there are conflicting reports on the success of the negotiations.
CUPE 416 frontman Mark Ferguson says talks are going smoothly.
However, Deputy Mayor Doug Holyday says he's doubtful a deal will be reached in time.
The deadline strikes at 12:01 sunday morning.
