It's fitting Penn State University is located in “Happy Valley” because in the wake of Joe Paterno's death his supporters are putting on a happy face to protect his legacy.
Paterno passed away on Sunday at the age of 85 following a bout with lung cancer but the JoePa legend died months ago.
It died when it was revealed he was told one of his assistants was seen in the showers with a young boy in 2002 and he didn't go to the police.
The need to protect the legacy of "JoePa," a man viewed as a saint by many, wouldn't be necessary if the man himself had done the right thing back in 2002.

What does matter is that you mean it.
Earlier this month while shopping around the city I encountered more than a few people who were in desperate need of the festive spirit.
I had one woman cut me off in a parking lot AND give me the finger for good measure all while a young child sat in the back seat. I saw another ...
