Woodstock Police say a suspect is facing several charges in connection with a string of break and enters thanks to an alert resident.
The resident called police Friday afternoon after noticing suspicious activity on Oxford Street in Woodstock.
Patrol officers and the K9 unit responded to the area. The suspect fled on foot through backyards but was quickly apprehended.
Police have since linked the suspect to several break and enters in the area of Oxford Street, Drew Street, and Ingersoll Avenue.
The 32-year-old man is facing several charges of break and enter, attempt break and enter, possession of stolen property, mischief, and breach of probation.
The investigation is ongoing.
