A 24-year-old London man is facing a slew of charges in connection to a crime spree Thursday morning in the city’s west end.
Investigators say the first incident occurred around 8:30 a.m. when a lone male entered the Shoppers Drug Mart location near Colonel Talbot Road and Southdale Road and demanded medication. After receiving an unspecified quantity, the man fled, police said.
About an hour later, around 9:42 a.m., police say they received a call about an attempted robbery at a different Shoppers Drug Mart Location along Commissioners Road West in Byron. In that case, the suspect left empty handed, police said.
A few minutes later, an Esso station at Oxford Street West and Westdel Bourne reported being robbed. Police say the suspect made off with cash in that incident
On Friday afternoon, police announced a 24-year-old London man has been charged with three counts of robbery, disguise with intent, possession of a weapon, and take motor vehicle without consent.
Police say no one was injured and no weapons were seen in any of the incidents.
