London Police are investigating a stabbing that took place in the downtown core Wednesday night.
Middlesex-London EMS responded to an area of Dundas Street, just west of Richmond Street at around 9:15 p.m.
While details are limited at this time, EMS say they transported a male patient to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
London Police say the victim was walking westbound on Dundas when an unidentified male walking in the opposite direction stabbed him multiple times before fleeing with an unknown female.
Police are currently investigating the relationship between the suspect and victim.
The suspect is described as a 25-30 year old man with an olive skin-tone and medium build. He has short buzzed hair and was wearing a grey and white camouflaged jacket. He fled with a female described as white with a thin build in a white jacket.
Police had the area around the walkway from the Covent Garden Market cordoned off as they investigated.
