London Police have identified the victim of a fatal stabbing at an east London banquet hall over the weekend.
Officers responded to Imperio Banquet Hall at 109 Falcon Street shortly after midnight Sunday.
Upon arrival, officers located a 26-year-old male who was unresponsive. The man had apparent stab wounds and was taken to hospital by paramedics where he was pronounced deceased, police said.
He has since been identified as 26-year-old Chad Robinson of Guelph.
According to police, several people were arrested at the scene and taken into custody. Through their investigation, police have charged four men with Assault Causing Bodily Harm related to an alleged assault on a second victim, whose injuries are non-life threatening.
The London Police Major Crime Section is now probing what is London’s fourth homicide of 2016.
No further information has been released, and police say the investigation is ongoing.
