Environment Canada says Friday night’s wallop of snow may give way to a bit of rain or freezing rain Saturday.
The national weather service issued a special weather statement for Middlesex, Oxford, Elgin, Lambton and Essex counties on Saturday morning, saying the snowfall will “gradually wind down” Saturday morning.
The statement can be found here.
Total snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 centimetres are likely before the mixed precipitation begins.
Forecasters say the precipitation will change back to a “little snow or freezing rain” by Saturday night.
