Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for London and surrounding areas ahead of a possible 20 cm of snow beginning as early as Saturday night.
The weather service says a low-pressure system is tracking towards the Great Lakes this weekend and will impact Southwestern Ontario by Sunday. The statement remains in effect for London, Parkhill, Strathroy, Komoka, Eastern and Western Middlesex Counties.
Snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 cm are possible beginning Saturday evening and ending early Monday morning.
Weather officials remind drivers that conditions could be impacted.
