Tourism London is looking to attract millennials to the city as part of a new video series.
Canada has been chosen as the number one travel destination for 2017, and with millennials a growing segment of the travel industry, London Tourism is hoping to capitalize.
They’ve started a video series, highlighting different neighbourhoods in London where visitors can experience a mix of our local culture.
“Millennials, in particular, represent about 40 per cent of all, what you call, lesiure travellers right now,” said London Tourism’s director of culture and entertainment Chris Campbell.
“But they’re going to become the number one traveller to target come 2020.”
The first video features Old East Village.
Another video highlighting Wortley Village is also in the works.
Campbell says videos will feature food, the arts, culture, heritage and Londoners themselves.
