London Transit bus drivers have voted overwhelmingly in favour of a new contract.
Members of the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 741 voted 83% in favour of the new deal, according to an update on their website.
The union represents bus drivers, inspectors, ticket clerks and plant and equipment employees.
Details of the deal haven’t been released.
That won’t happen until after the London Transit Commission votes on the deal later Wednesday.
The Commission is scheduled to meet at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
