One person is dead following a single-vehicle crash Sunday morning north of the 402.
Middlesex OPP say they were called to a single motor vehicle crash on Centre Road a approximately 7:45 a.m. to find a Chevrolet car on the banks of the Ausable River.
Investigators say the car was travelling southbound on Centre Road when it crossed the northbound lane and left the roadway. It traveled down an embankment, rolled, and came to a rest on the south side of the river, according to police.
The driver of the vehicle was declared dead at the scene. They were the one occupant of the vehicle.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) are attending the scene to assist with the investigation.
Centre Road is closed from Glasgow Street to Townsend Line due to the investigation.
