Forecasters have bad news for anyone hoping that we would have another mild winter like last year.
The Weather Network is predicting a cold and potentially stormy winter for most of Canada.
In fact, the network believes it will be a return to a “classic Canadian winter” which means widespread temperatures near or below seasonal normal, along with an active winter storm season.
Officials with the network predict a snowy winter for the London region, with considerably more precipitation than last year.
On the plus side, we can expect some periodic breaks from the cold, and even the occasional thaw along the way.
