London Police say a fire at an abandoned home in the city’s southeast is being treated as suspicious.
Emergency crews responded to the blaze around 4:30 Thursday afternoon on Pond Mills Road.
Police have closed Ponds Mills Road from Ailsa Place to Cleveland Avenue while firefighters battle the blaze. Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
Thursday evening, police reported that the fire is considered suspicious and the scene will be held overnight for the Fire Inspector as well as London Police Arson detectives.
Damage is pegged at $50,000 and no injuries have been reported.
