Elgin County OPP is investigating after four puppies were thrown out of a moving vehicle.
On Saturday, November 10th at 8:10 p.m., Police say a bystander saw a vehicle pull up near their residence driveway and toss out four Jack Russell puppies.
The residence is located on Talbot Line between Mckillop Road and Dunborough Road.
The puppies appeared to be around six to seven weeks old. Three of the puppies were said to be injured.
An unknown person pulled over in their vehicle after noticing the bystander in the ditch area looking for the puppies.
The unknown person took the three puppies to an emergency veterinarian in London.
The suspect vehicle is described as an early 2000’s black, 4-door Ford Explorer with rusted rims and lower panels and a loud muffler.
