London police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a violent downtown robbery.
Police say the lone male suspect entered a retail store at 223 Dundas Street shortly after 2 p.m. Saturday and assaulted a store clerk multiple times with a weapon.
He then left on foot with an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency and stolen property.
He is described as white, 20-35 years of age, 5’7”, 150lbs, with brown hair that’s longer on top and shaved on the sides. Police say he was wearing a grey, long sleeve sweatshirt, blue jeans, and blue running shoes. He was also carrying a yellow shopping bag at the time of the incident.
London police are warning the public to not approach the suspect if you spot him and to call 911.
