London Police officials are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect in connection to an alleged robbery that occurred in the city’s east end in late September.
Investigators say it was around 10:30 p.m. on Sept. 20 when a lone adult male reported he was attacked by numerous individuals in the area of Clarke Road and Trafalgar Street.
A media release at the time of the incident stated that three teen boys had allegedly assaulted a man on a sidewalk in the area, taking his cellphone and some cash. When a second man tried to intervene, police said the teens threatened him with a knife before fleeing on foot.
Police quickly arrested three suspects at the scene, and the next day, announced that two 15-year-olds and one 17-year-old had been charged.
Their identities cannot be released under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Since then, police say three others have been arrested in connection to the incident. Their names, ages, and the various charges they face have not been released.
On Friday, police said an 18-year-old male suspect remained at large in the case.
Zachary Albert French, pictured, is wanted by investigators on charges of robbery and theft with violence, police said.
Anyone who sees Albert is asked not to approach him, but instead call 911.
Anyone with information in relation to the incident is asked to call London Police at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
