Provincial police say 11 people were taken to hospital Wednesday with non-life threatening injuries following a two-vehicle crash in Zorra Township involving a pick-up truck and van.
The collision occurred around 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of 37th Line and Road 96 when a westbound pick-up truck failed to yield to through traffic and struck a southbound van, Oxford OPP said Thursday.
Oxford and Perth County paramedics transported 11 people from the scene to area hospitals. Police say the truck was carrying a male driver and male passenger, while the van was carrying a male driver, seven male passengers, and one female passenger.
Police say the 21-year-old Kitchener male driving the pick-up truck has been charged with Fail to Yield.
