Members of the public will get an update Tuesday morning on an ongoing death investigation involving three Police services.
Information regarding the multi-jurisdictional investigation will be shared by Criminal Investigators from London and Woodstock, as well as the OPP.
Few details have been released because the investigation is in its early stages.
The investigation was launched by Woodstock Police on September 29th.
Detective Inspector Ron Hagerman of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch was assigned to the investigation on October 5th by the province’s Major Case Management Coordinator.
Provincial Police said in a release the investigation may encompass Woodstock and London, as well as Oxford and Brant counties.
On October 14th, police announced that a suspect has been identified and there was not believed to be a threat to public safety.
“Investigators from each police jurisdiction are at the very early stages of the investigation working toward confirming information and gathering evidence alleged to form part of this investigation,” said the release.
The news conference is scheduled to begin at 10a.m. Tuesday at Goff Hall in Woodstock and AM980 will carry it live.
