London Police are searching for a pair suspects after gunshots were fired in the city’s east end early Sunday morning.
Police say they received multiple calls regarding the sound of two or three loud noises that sounded like a gunshots in the 200 block area of Marconi Boulevard at 3:47 a.m. There were reports of a group of people that had congregated in this area just prior to the suspected gunshots, but when police arrived on scene moments later, no one was present.
Investigators uncovered a broken basement window at a residence where the group had been standing. It was determined that this window was broken by at least one gunshot. No one was hit or injured as a result of the firearm discharge.
Police have release descriptions of the suspects provided from witnesses in the area.
The first is described as a white male, 20-30 years old with short hair and a goatee. He was wearing a dark baseball cap, black and red sweater and dark blue jeans.
The second is described a white male, wearing a baseball cap, black and red sweater with a logo on the front, black track pants and white shoes. Witnesses say the suspects fled in a dark coloured vehicle.
Police say no further information is available to be released to the public at this time. The London Police Major Crime Section is investigating the shooting.
