Middesex OPP have identified the woman killed in a school bus crash north of London.
Officers say it was shortly before 9:30 a.m. Tuesday when they and other emergency personnel responded to Twelve Mile Road. The OPP says a yellow school bus was travelling west when it hit the shoulder of the north side of the road. The bus then crossed the road where the front of the vehicle hit a tree on the south side of the roadway which caused the bus to roll onto the passenger side.
The OPP says the 63-year-old female driver, who was the only one on the bus, was pronounced dead at the scene. She’s since been identified as Pamela Walper of South Huron.
There were no students on the bus at the time of the crash. The investigation into the collision continues.
