A week after Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump squared off in the first U-S presidential debate, vice-presidential candidates Tim Kaine and Mike Pence have their turn.
One of the topics of discussion the two are expected to butt heads over is Trump’s tax avoidance.
The debate at Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia is scheduled to last for 90 minutes.
Here in London, American democrats feeling far from home will come together to watch the Kaine versus Pence debate.
“Democrats Abroad” is hosting a viewing party at Joe Kool’s on Richmond.
Chair of the London and Area Chapter of Democrats Abroad, Gena Brummitt, said people have really been enjoying these debates.
“It is something that people have been really excited about,” said Brummitt. “Kaine and Pence are certainly no where near in the media as Trump and Clinton are. They’re kind of a mystery to us.”
The party on Tuesday starts at 8:30p.m. and the VP debate begins at 9p.m.
