A 17-year-old Gorrie boy is facing a count of careless driving after a school bus was rear ended on its route.
Huron OPP say it was around 8:22 a.m. Thursday when they responded to Brussels Line, just north of Amberley Road. When they arrived on scene, officers found a southbound Pontiac Torrent on Brussels Line collided with the back of a stopped school bus.
The OPP says the bus had just stopped and students were waiting to board when it was hit and there were 21 students already on board.
Local paramedics and fire crews also attended the scene, but the OPP says no one was hurt.
As a result of the investigation, Huron County OPP say they’ve charged a 17-year-old boy from Gorrie with careless driving.
