More information is expected to be released Monday after four OPP officers were hurt in a high-speed chase in Southwold Township.
It started shortly after 6 p.m. Friday when Police spotted a white pick-up truck on Southdel Bourne that was stolen.
They tried to pull the vehicle over, but it continued to drive erratically — exiting the 401 in the Sheddon area.
The two suspects broke into a home, and stole the keys to a blue pickup truck, leaving the first truck behind and driving off.
Police located the blue truck on Talbot Line, but it refused to stop, and made contact with two police vehicles on Mill Road.
The stolen vehicle hit two other Police cruisers on Longhurst Line, before the suspects abandoned the truck.
The pair flagged down a passing motorist, and assaulted the two occupants in hopes of stealing their vehicle, but the victims managed to drive away unharmed.
The suspects then hid in a ditch, where Police quickly found them.
Four Police Officers were treated in hospital for non-life threatening injuries as a result of the collisions, which also heavily damaged four cruisers.
Two long guns were recovered in the stolen white pickup truck.
A 26-year-old man from Haldimand County and a 15-year-old boy are facing numerous weapons and other criminal charges.
