Norfolk County OPP are investigating a motor vehicle collision at a Cockshutt Road and Townsend address.
Officers responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a grain trailer around 12:02 p.m. on Sunday.
As a result of the investigation, officials determined that a blue motor vehicle was travelling southbound on Cockshutt Road.
A white pickup truck was travelling northbound on Cockshutt Road and was pulling a grain trailer.
According to police, the tarp covering came off and the tarping and metal housing then struck the blue vehicle.
A metal pole entered through the driver’s side front windshield and continued through the vehicle, stopping at the rear hatch.
The 20-year-old female driver of Brantford was startled and was able to safely stop her motor vehicle on the side of the roadway.
There were no injuries reported to the driver or the two-month-old infant that was a passenger in the rear of the vehicle.
Officials stated that charges are pending.
