London Police have arrested a 28-year-old man wanted on numerous fraud-related charges.
Officials stated that between December 2015 and August 2016, the London Police Service received nine reports of fraud from senior residences and retirement homes.
In these cases, a male or a female posed as personal support workers at retirement homes or senior residences in the city of London and entered without authorization.
According to police, debit and credit cards were taken without knowledge or consent and used without authorization from the owners.
Earlier in the month, 31-year-old Amanda Albert turned herself in to the London Police Service on numerous fraud-related charges in relation to these occurrences on September 7th, 2016.
London police reported that they arrested Michael French on Saturday.
The London Police Service are reminding the public and employers to:
- Remain vigilant
- Make sure identification is shown
- Ensure proper procedures are being followed
