Two people in St. Thomas are facing animal cruelty charges.
Police say they received complaints from tenants at a Confederation Drive apartment about a foul odour coming from one of the units.
Inside officers found the bodies of two dogs. As well, a cat was located alive and is receiving medical attention.
It’s believed the apartment had been vacant for some time.
A 19-year-old man and 20-year-old woman have each been charged with three counts of causing injury to an animal and one count of mischief under $5,000.
