London Police say a suspect is in custody after a bank in the city’s east end was held-up.
Officers say it was shortly before 10:30 a.m. Wednesday when a lone male suspect entered the Bank of Montreal at 555 Hamilton Rd.
Investigators say the suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and no injuries were reported.
A suspect was arrested roughly an hour after the robbery in the area of King Edward Avenue. Police say some evidence has been recovered but police continue to search the area.
