OPP say a Tuesday evening crash has left a 79-year-old London man with life-threatening injuries.
It was just before 6:30 p.m. when police say a grey Hyundai car heading southbound on Adelaide Street North, which is governed by stop signs, collided with a westbound black Toyota SUV in the intersection at Ilderton Road.
The driver and lone occupant of the Hyundai was taken to hospital where he remains Wednesday afternoon in critical condition.
There were six occupants in the SUV at the time, two of which were injured. The 16-year-old Bluewater girl and 45-year-old Strathroy-Caradoc woman have since been released from hospital.
The investigation is ongoing.
