Oxford County OPP say they’ve now identified a young female cyclist who was struck by a vehicle in Ingersoll.
Police say they are still at the scene after a serious collision around 11:05 a.m. at Wellington St. and Concession St. near Memorial Park.

A female cyclist, believed to be a teen, was struck by a pickup truck. She was then taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.
Police describe the female as having shoulder length dirty blonde hair, brown eyes, approximately 130 lbs., and approximately 13 years of age.
She was wearing black shorts, pink tank top, worn, white American Eagle standards, and white ear buds with a square pink plate that has a white heart in the middle of the plate.
The bike she was riding (pictured below) is a BMX style, black frame with orange forks, red tire rims, and a red cable lock on the handle bars.
Cst. Lisa Narancsik stated in an email that they have located the family and more information will be released as the investigation continues.
