Oxford OPP say a 48-year-old man is facing two impaired driving charges in connection to an incident over the weekend in a Tillsonburg parking where a parked car was struck twice by the same vehicle.
The incident happened around 8 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of a variety store on Concession Street East, OPP said Tuesday.
According to investigators, the vehicle drove into the parking lot and struck a parked car. The driver then got out of the vehicle and went into the store, and as he was leaving, allegedly reversed into the same car, police said.
A 48-year-old Tillsonburg man is facing a charge of driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle, and driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in blood, police said.
The accused was released on a promise to appear in Woodstock court later this month.
